1. Who We Are
Seravie is operated by Luminary Apps Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales ("we", "us", "our"). Our registered address is [Registered Address], United Kingdom.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Seravie mobile application (the "App") and any related services. By downloading the App and creating an account, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
2. The Service
Seravie provides:
- Daily symptom tracking and logging
- Personal trend analysis and insights based on your logs
- General wellness information about menopause, perimenopause, and related topics
- An HRT Hub providing information based on published clinical guidelines (NICE NG23 for UK users; NAMS 2022 for US users)
- Premium content including articles, sleep sessions, breathing exercises, and nutrition guides (subscribers only)
The App is available on iOS (Apple App Store) and Android (Google Play Store). Some features require an active subscription.
3. Medical Disclaimer
If you have concerns about your health, symptoms, or treatment options, please consult your GP (UK) or licensed healthcare provider (US). In an emergency, call 999 (UK) or 911 (US) or go to your nearest emergency department.
3.1 Clinical information
Content in the HRT Hub and premium articles is based on published clinical guidelines and is reviewed periodically for accuracy. However, guidelines are updated over time and individual circumstances vary. Always discuss treatment options with your own GP or specialist before making any decisions about hormone therapy or other medical treatments.
3.2 Regulated classification
Seravie is classified as a general wellness app under:
- UK MHRA guidance on software as a medical device (it does not meet the criteria for a medical device)
- US FDA General Wellness Policy (low-risk wellness app, not a medical device)
4. Accounts
4.1 Creating an account
To access most features of Seravie you must create an account using a valid email address and password. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account.
4.2 Account accuracy
You agree to provide accurate information when creating your account and to keep it up to date. Providing false information (including being under 18) may result in your account being suspended.
4.3 One account per person
Each account is for the personal use of one individual. You may not share your account with others or create accounts on behalf of other people.
4.4 Deleting your account
You may delete your account at any time via Profile → Settings → Delete Account. Deletion is permanent and removes all your personal data from our systems within 30 days, in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Active subscriptions must be cancelled separately through the App Store or Google Play before deleting your account.
5. Subscriptions & Billing
Seravie offers two paid subscription tiers in addition to limited free access:

5.1 Billing and renewal
Subscriptions are processed and managed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play) — not directly by Luminary Apps Ltd. Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google account at confirmation of purchase. You can manage and cancel your subscription at any time in your device's subscription settings.
5.2 Price changes
We reserve the right to change subscription prices. If we increase prices, we will give you at least 30 days' notice via the App and email. The new price will take effect at your next renewal date. If you do not agree with the new price, you may cancel before renewal.
5.3 Currency
UK users are charged in GBP (£). US users are charged in USD ($). Prices in other countries are set by Apple and Google in local currency and may differ from the GBP/USD amounts above.
6. Free Trial
We may offer a free trial period (currently 7 days) for new subscribers. Free trial eligibility is determined by Apple or Google — typically one trial per Apple ID or Google account per subscription tier, ever.
If you do not cancel before the end of the free trial, your payment method will be charged for the first subscription period. You can cancel at any time during the trial at no charge.
7. Refunds
Because subscriptions are processed through Apple App Store and Google Play, all refund requests must be directed to them:

- Google: Google Play refund policy
Luminary Apps Ltd is unable to issue refunds directly for App Store or Google Play purchases. Apple and Google each have their own refund policies; Apple generally offers a refund within 14 days of purchase for EU/UK customers under consumer law.
7.1 UK statutory rights
Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a UK consumer. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you may have the right to a 14-day cooling-off period for digital services. By starting to use the App during this period, you acknowledge that you have expressly requested early performance and that your right to cancel may be limited accordingly.
8. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use Seravie to:
- Violate any applicable law or regulation
- Attempt to access other users' data or accounts
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to extract data from the App
- Introduce malware, viruses, or any malicious code
- Attempt to disrupt or overload our servers or infrastructure
- Use the App for any commercial purpose without our written permission
- Share your account credentials with others
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without notice.
9. Intellectual Property
The Seravie App, including its design, code, content, graphics, and the Seravie and Luminary Apps Ltd names and logos, are owned by Luminary Apps Ltd and protected by UK and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App on your own device(s) solely for your personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms.
Nothing in these Terms transfers any intellectual property rights to you. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App or its content.
10. Your Content
All symptom logs, notes, and other data you enter into Seravie ("Your Content") remain yours. We do not claim any ownership over Your Content.
By using the App, you grant Luminary Apps Ltd a limited licence to store, process, and display Your Content solely for the purpose of providing the App's services to you. This licence ends when you delete your account.
We use aggregated, anonymised data derived from user activity to improve the App. This data cannot be linked back to any individual user.
11. Limitation of Liability
11.1 No warranty
The App is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that defects will be corrected. We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any information in the App for your specific circumstances.
11.2 Limitation
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Luminary Apps Ltd's total liability to you for any claims arising under or in connection with these Terms or your use of the App shall not exceed the total amount you paid for subscriptions in the 12 months preceding the claim.
We are not liable for: indirect or consequential losses; loss of data; loss of profit; or any health outcome resulting from reliance on information in the App. This does not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.
11.3 Consumer rights
Nothing in this section affects your statutory rights as a UK consumer, which cannot be excluded by contract.
12. Availability & Changes to the App
We aim to keep Seravie available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may need to suspend the App for maintenance, updates, or reasons beyond our control.
We reserve the right to modify, update, or discontinue features of the App at any time. For material changes that reduce functionality you have paid for, we will give you reasonable notice and offer a proportionate refund if applicable.
If we discontinue the App entirely, we will give you at least 30 days' notice and provide a pro-rata refund of any unused subscription period.
13. Termination
13.1 By you
You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time. Cancelling your subscription does not automatically delete your account — you must do both separately if you wish to leave entirely.
13.2 By us
We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or if we are required to do so by law. In most cases we will give you prior notice and an opportunity to remedy the breach, unless the breach is serious or poses a risk to other users or our systems.
13.3 Effect of termination
On termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. Sections 3 (Medical Disclaimer), 9 (Intellectual Property), 11 (Limitation of Liability), and 14 (Governing Law) survive termination.
14. Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. If a dispute arises, we would prefer to resolve it informally first — please contact us at hello@seravie.net.
If we cannot resolve a dispute informally within 30 days, either party may refer the matter to the courts of England and Wales, which shall have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to your rights as a consumer to bring proceedings in the courts of your home country.
For US users, nothing in these Terms waives any rights you have under applicable state or federal consumer protection laws.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in the law, our services, or our business practices. When we make material changes we will:
- Update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page
- Send you a notification via the App
- For significant changes, ask for your renewed acceptance before you can continue using the App
Continued use of the App after updated Terms take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you should stop using the App and cancel any active subscription.
